Sharper Blades,
Better Days.
Professional, hand-sharpened edges for your kitchen, hunting, and pocket knives. We bring the lost craft of sharpening to Cross Hill and Lake Greenwood.
Professional sharpening, made simple.
Drop off your dull knives and we'll text you when they're ready. It's that easy.
1. Drop Off
Bring your knives to one of our market pop-ups, or text us a photo to arrange a drop-off in Cross Hill.
2. We Sharpen
We assess the blade type, set the perfect angle, and sharpen by hand with low-speed, minimal-removal techniques.
3. Ready for Pickup
We'll text you the moment your knives are razor sharp. Pay with cash or Venmo at pickup.
If it has an edge, we can sharpen it.
Kitchen and chef's knives, hunting and pocket knives, scissors and shears, garden tools, and single-bevel broadheads — each set to its correct angle by hand.

The family behind the bench.
We're Joe & Andrea Bontrager. We started BladeWorks as a simple but practical service that we hope will be a blessing to many in the Lakelands community.
If you've ever had a knife come back from a hardware store worse than it went in—too much metal gone, a burned edge, a rounded tip—you're exactly who we started this for. We treat your knives like our own.

Real edges, real neighbors. Here's what folks are saying.
“Brought a dull chef's knife I'd nearly given up on — came back sharper than the day I bought it. You can tell they actually care.”
“Dropped my kitchen set at the market, did my shopping, and got a text before I was done. Best edges I've had in years.”
“Honest pricing and they don't grind away half your blade like the hardware store. Highly recommend Joe and Andrea.”
