Our Story

Hello friends,

We're Joe & Andrea Bontrager, and we're excited to share something new with you. We've started a small side business sharpening knives, a simple but practical service that we hope will be a blessing to many.

This venture also carries a personal purpose. Andrea was diagnosed with neurological Lyme disease in 2010, which has caused nerve damage in her brain, leading to chronic pain, a seizure disorder, generalized dystonia and a myriad of other conditions. The journey has been long and challenging, but God has been faithful! The income from this little business will help us cover ongoing medical expenses related to her care.

We're also so grateful for God's gift to us: our son Rhett, age 4, who brings so much joy and keeps us on our toes!
